This vintage piece is Kenneth Jay Lane (KJL) "Cafe Society" panther link choker necklace, produced during the 1980s to early 1990s. Known as the "Master of Faking It," Kenneth Jay Lane built an empire by creating high-end costume jewelry that closely mimicked fine jewelry worn by Hollywood royalty and elite socialites. 2 rhinestones missing, not even noticeable. See photo. Has been in family since new. Clasp works perfectly. The "Panther Link" Style: The core structure uses a heavily gold-plated watch-link pattern (often referred to as a panther link) that mimics luxury metallic watch straps.
