Beautiful Victorian mourning ring dating to the mid–late 19th century. A 9 carat gold shank and gold-plated detailing to setting with a rectangular glazed memorial compartment. This holds original mourning fabric, surrounded by a halo of vibrant hand set turquoise beads. Turquoise was widely used in Victorian mourning jewellery, symbolising remembrance and eternal affection, making this a deeply sentimental piece. Weighs 3.23 grams and is a size N.
